The students were asked to reflect on their summer experiences and choose their favorite happy memory. Here's what they had to say:
This is a really hard thing to decide. All of the field trips were really fun and cool and all of the workshops were really. When I go over all of my memoirs, I think I have to go with five of my favorite field trips. Hanauma Bay, Black Point beach, Papahana Kuaola, and Canoe Paddling. My favorite workshop was Poi pounding.

I had so much fun at this summer school. We got to go a lot of fun field trips. Some of the field trips I enjoyed was Hanauma Bay Black point beach and Alan Davis Beach.I enjoyed Hanauma Bay because I love seeing all the fish. It was not just any ordinary fish But it was yellow tanks and butterfly fish. Like Black Point beach because i took a risk and jumped off the walls.Last but not least I liked going to Alan Davis beach because I liked catching crabs and fish.

I think the best field trips was Black Point Beach and Hanauma bay, because at Hanauma bay I got to see fishes that I never got to see before. It was so amazing! I really liked Black Point Beach because I got to jump of ledges and also because I got to see other fishes like the school of trumpet fish. I really wish I knew about this nature study thing in forth grade because I want to do the same class again.

My favorite field trip was going to Hanauma bay because I got to see lots of cool fish. and lots of coral. there was shallow water I could swim in. that is why Hanauma bay was my favorite field trip

I had so much fun at this summer school. We got to do a lot of cool things .Probably my favorite place was Black Point beach. We got to go snorkeling or fishing or jump off ledges. I had so much fun there because I went fishing with my friends. We also went snorkeling. There weren't many fish but lots of rocks. This is what I will remember the most.

My happy memory is when we went to Black-point beach. I liked it because we got to jump off a wall and it was super fun! I was scared at first but this class made me do things I was before scared of doing but now I am not.

It will be so sad to have to leave this school because I had so much fun. One memory I really enjoyed throughout this summer school was when we went to Hanauma bay. What was fun there was getting to snorkel and see all of the fish and well just hang out with friends. since this summer was so interesting I really don't want to leave.

My happy memory was all the field trips. I have 7 of them: The Lyon Arboretum, Kanewai Lo'i, Pa'i'ai, Kualoa Beach Park, Papahana Kuaola, Hanauma Bay, and Black Point Beach. These are the field trips I love. I had a wonderful time.

My happy memory is the field trip to Black Point Beach. My dad and grampa came. When we arrived a very nice lifeguard came and told us the rules. Then we went to go clean up the beach even though there was not much trash. Then she told us we can go when we were done picking up trash, but unfortunately Papa slipped on a rock and scraped his knee and I got a cut on my toe. Then we jumped off the rock and went snorkeling and left.

My favorite field trip was going to Hanauma Bay because there were so many cool kinds of fish and coral. also there was shallow water I can swim in. That is why Hanauma Bay is my favorite field trip.
