On Monday the class made a trek out to the Alan Davis area near Sandys beach. The class spread out throughout the tide pools and attempted to catch a variety of sea creatures. The catch of the day ranged from the slower hermit crabs, sea cucumbers, brittle stars to the swifter guppies, minnows, and jumping jacks. The class learned that brittle stars are faster than you think and much harder to find. Altogether it was a great study of the marine tide pool life.
