Kawainui Marsh Restoration

Last Friday the students had the opportunity to be the first group to help restore Kawainui Marsh in Kailua since the state granted $6 Million for the restoration project. We heard Mo'olelo from Dr. Burrows and Uncle Mark Stride about the significance of the marsh and Ulupo Heiau. We also got to explore the marsh and Lo'i that has slowly made its way back into existence. Tara and Anna were our designated photographers for the day and they took some great pics.
